William Gilbert "W. G." Grace.

What a character he was, the first sport superstar. And a practicing doctor! Can you imagine being examined by W.G. Grace? What prescriptions would he have given you? Something like fresh air, push ups and a good breakfast one would imagine but probably he was more orthodox.

Still to this day he remains great fun to draw. I’m tempted to sketch a few more poses of the great man.
