Outdoor Sketching
One of my favourite local spots and perfect sketching location, the pier of the old powerstation in Greenwich, handlily just a short cycle ride from home, its mighty frame neatly casting intricate shadows onto itself on this glorious sunny day. Quite a long sketching session, a couple of hours plus altogether, including a few chats with friendly passers-by. And as the day progressed those dramatic shadows kept of shifting. Eventually you cheat and pick those that most help the drawing, even if they’re no more there.
