The two Presidents

The front page of the newspaper il Piccolo today carries this illustration of mine about the meeting of Italian president Sergio Mattarella with the slovenian president Borut Pahor. This meeting takes place in Gorizia, a town that sits half in Italy and half in Slovenia. There used to be a fence running halfway through the town until recent good will and Slovenia joining in the European Union made it disapper. My illustration celebrates this good will, and the press that tells us all about it.
