I illustrated the official styleguide for the Mascots of the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019. The characters are Mansour, a typical youth of the UAE, and his falcon Jarrah. Falconry is a very popular traditional activity in the UAE. The agency North 55 provided me with one illustration with the approved design and a list of characteristics to illustrate like pride and hospitality and athleticism. I provided therefore concept sketches and final vector art, apart from the original pose (spirited, the last one of this gallery) where I did the vector artwork on the supplied pencil.
